It’s Friday! TGIF and so very thankful for another beautiful day in the hills of Tennessee. This morning started with God’s bread crumbs out of the book of John, Chapter 15. I’m praying for a few family members having medical issues and those that don’t have any of which I know and friends that God brings to my mind and enemies which God brings to my mind as well. You’re suppose to forgive them and pray for them….that’s a pretty strong act of love/kindness right there…yep.
It’s been a very fun, quiet, and productive morning. I’m sure the Karencoffee was the reason behind the productive part of it….caffeine downloaded! The Ragged Blue-Jean Cathedral Stained Glass Window Quilt is coming along. It’s been a lot of fun (and pain — pins sticking me, seams not lining up, squares falling out of “window panes” and, steam from the iron burning my finger tips as I actually ironed down the blocks — my friend will not believe that last comment….I usually never iron my blocks and it really bothers her perfectionism….mine, not so much,,lol..(remember, it’s why I make ragged quilts!).
Here’s some pictures of today’s progress.
Notice how much it shrinks up when the circles are sewn together. Not to worry, I measured it by trial and error and it still covers enough. I can’t wait to use it on a cold winter’s morning listening to the loons on the Lagoon. I’ve got to get busy with all things from the chores department so everyone enjoy the rest of your day. Vision – what’s yours?
